Portuguese giants Benfica have announced the signing of 19-year-old Serbian forward Lazar Markovic on a five-year deal from Partizan Belgrade.
The transfer fee has however not been disclosed.
The player started his youth career with the Serbian giants in 2006, and made his senior debut for the side in 2011.
Markovic clocked up 31 appearances for the Steamroller in the 2012/13 season, scoring seven times, and also helping his side clinch their sixth-successive Serbian SuperLiga title.

As a result, Partizan Belgrade will feature in the Champions League qualifiers next season.
He is now looking ahead to his development as a player and he believes that he can succeed with the Eagles.
"I know that I can develop and succeed in the Benfica team", he told his new club’s site.
Markovic will join his compatriots Nemanja Matic and Filip Djuricic at the Portuguese club.
Meanwhile, Benfica, under manager Jorge Jesus, narrowly missed out on a historic treble this season, after losing the Liga Sagres title to rivals Porto by just a point, as well as recording a defeat against Chelsea in the Europa League final.
Jesus’ side failed to bag any silverware, after losing 2-1 to Vitoria Guimaraes in the Portuguese Cup final as well.
