Neil Redfearn has paid tribute to the Leeds United supporters and dedicated the club's good run of form to their fanatical fans.

The Whites are one of the best supported clubs in the Championship and are expected to take a sizable contingent down to the south coast this evening when they lock horns with Brighton.

Redfearn has led Leeds into the top half of the Championship table following a run of five wins from their last six games, the latest an impressive victory at Middlesbrough.

And Redfearn is pleased a string of wins have been put together to delight the fans. The head coach also believes things will get even better at Elland Road.

"I'm chuffed to bits for them because this is a great club, a great club to be at and with a proud tradition", he told LUTV.

"And the supporters are proud people and they want the club to do well. They don't like the fact that we're not competing at the top end – and rightly so.

"But we're going in the right way. We've got a young side that's going to get better and if we can add the right additions going along, we can be a real force again", the former academy chief added.

Brighton beat Leeds at Elland Road in the earlier league fixture between the two teams and Redfearn will be desperate to prevent the Seagulls doing the double over his side this evening.
