Cash-strapped Olympique Marseille are looking for reinforcements in attack, and have singled out Inter Milan’s Mancini as a possible acquisition according to France Football. The Brazilian moved to the Italian champions from Roma for €13 in 2008, but has failed to hold down a regular spot in Jose Mourniho’s squad.
The 29-year-old has only managed 26 appearances since joining the Nerazzurri and has only played 148 minutes this season. Mancini is desperate to get more time on the pitch, something Marseille are more than happy to provide him with.
Cash seems to be the only stumbling block in acquiring the versatile winger, who even if signed on a loan deal, would still cost the club a considerable amount. Because of this, OM manager Didier Deschamps is considering offloading Mathieu Valbuena, who is surplus to requirements, but much to his dismay, not attracting much interest from other clubs.
