Manchester United summer signing Antonio Valencia has admitted the club’s coming Champions League matches against AC Milan will be the biggest he has played in. The Ecuadorian international has adapted to life at Old Trafford quite quickly since his transfer from Wigan, and is likely to be involved when United visit the San Siro on Tuesday next week.
“They will be the biggest games I’ve played in club football," Valencia told Inside United. "The Champions League is a huge competition and Milan are one of the biggest clubs around. They’ve won so much in their history and they’ve won the Champions League a lot, and it will be a big test for us.”
The 24-year-old winger will likely play a prominent role in United’s push to acquire their fourth Premier League title on the trot this month, with Nani out suspended for three matches.
