Fiorentina owner Diego Dalla Valle has reassured the media that coach Cesare Prandelli is not going anywhere and will be staying on Viola’s bench.
The Italian told the press: "I don’t see a problem on the bench for Fiorentina. We have a good coach called Prandelli."
Fiorentina are pushing to make up ground in Serie A with there being a real possibility the club will miss out on European football next season, which, after participating in this season’s Champions League, would be considered a failure in Florence.
Viola lost 2-1 at home to Juventus yesterday and now cannot afford many more slip-ups, something Prandelli and Dalla Valle are no doubt aware of.
