After demolishing bogey-team AC Milan in the Champions League last night, Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is feeling bullish about his side’s chances in the prestigious tournament. The Red Devils were 4-0 victors in the second leg played in Old Trafford, with the seemingly unstoppable Wayne Rooney netting twice once again.

"With the kind of team I’ve got, it doesn’t matter who we play next," said the United manager. "When we play with that tempo, we’re difficult to play against. It was a real solid Manchester United performance."

Having lost to AC Milan in four previous European ties, Man Utd finally overcame the Serie A side, winning with an impressive 7-2 score on aggregate.
