Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp was full of praise of youngster Gareth Bale after his side’s win over Portsmouth. The 20-year-old has recovered from quite a slow start to the season to become a real gem for his club, and his boss has been quick to acknowledge his growing ability and boundless potential.
“Gareth is amazing," said Redknapp on the club’s official website. "He’s such an athlete as well, terrific ability, great skill, he can do everything. He’s six foot one, has a great left foot, he can run all day, head it, pass it, cross, dribble,” he explained. “He makes a run and then gets back and runs again. He’s got the capacity to keep making 60-yard runs and then make another, then another.”
Bale has helped Spurs amass a nine-game unbeaten run to remain in the coveted fourth position in the Premier League.
