Coach Joachim Low has admitted he is considering bringing in form Kevin Kuranyi back into the Germany setup despite previously stating the Schalke striker would never play for the national team while he was in charge. The 28-year-old angered his boss when he walked away from the squad at half-time, after not being selected in the World Cup qualifier against Russia in 2008.

Now is not the time to talk about it in public," Low said on Fifa.com. "We are discussing things internally and will make our decision known in time. We will do that with all of our players, but clearly a decision over Kuranyi will be made before May 6. That means, not on the very day we name our squad."

Kuranyi has impressively bagged 20 goals in 32 appearances for his club so far this season, prompting a clamour for his services in the national team.
