Highly rated young goalkeeper Abdoulaye Diallo has inked his first professional contract with Ligue 1 side Rennes according to France Football. The 18-year-old is a product of the prestigious Clairefontaine academy and has managed two appearances this season.

Diallo has also appeared for France’s Under-19s team this season.

Rennes are understandably delighted to have secured the player’s signature, even more so since he has been the subject of interest from foreign sides and nevertheless chose to remain with the North West outfit. Hopes will be high that Diallo can continue his remarkable progress.
