Real Madrid youngster Marcelo, who was on the scoresheet last weekend, insists that his side will continue to pour everything they have into winning the La Liga title over arch rivals Barcelona. Needing the Catalan giants to slip up in order to win the league however, the 21-year-old insists winning the last three matches will be all that matters for Los Blancos.

The toughest game left is the next one against Mallorca because they are fighting for a berth in next season’s Champions League,” the Brazilian pointed out on the club’s official website. “We are working hard to win La Liga. We will play our heart and souls out to win all three matches. We just hope Barcelona slip up. All we can do is wait and see what happens."

Marcelo has been played regularly under Manuel Pellegrini this season, earning himself an extension to remain with Real Madrid until 2015.
