Manchester City are being linked with a move for Basel full back Samuel Inkoom according to Swiss paper Blick. The 20-year-old Ghana international has impressed in the Swiss Super League this season and is regarded as a player with a big future ahead of him.

At international level, Inkoom was part of the Ghana side which won the FIFA Under-20 World Championship, beating Brazil in the final.

Having only signed for Basel in 2009, costing the Swiss giants $700,000, Inkoom will not come cheap should Man City wish to firm up their interest with a concrete bid.
