Former Chelsea and Olympique Lyon player Tiago, is desperate to make his loan move to Atletico Madrid permanent, as he attempts to escape returning to his Juventus nightmare, where he managed only seven appearances in the first half of the season.

My desire is to stay at Atletico, but I have another two-year contract with Juventus, and if no agreement between the two clubs is made, there will be nothing I can do,” Tiago explained on Portuguese daily A Bola.

The 29-year-old made 18 appearances for Atletico Madrid after his loan move in the January transfer window, establishing himself as an important figure in the squad. Tiago also scored his first league goal in almost three years shortly after joining the club, signs that the player is more comfortable with Vicente Calderon outfit.
