According to reports in the Italian press, current Inter Milan manager Jose Mourinho has already made his first request to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez regarding his preferred signings in the summer transfer window – heightening speculation that the former Chelsea boss will likely be replacing Manuel Pellegrini soon after the Champions League final at the weekend.
It is believed the Portuguese tactician is looking to reinforce the Los Blancos defence, and has pinpointed Inter’s right-back Maicon, and Lazio’s left-back Aleksandar Kolarov as his ideal acquisitions to bolster the backline.
The reports also claim that Mourinho has already been informed by Perez, that the Madrid club will be allocating an €80M budget for transfers this summer.
