After a breakout season last year, striker Hugo Rodallega has attracted plenty of interest from other Premier League clubs. Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez claims however that no formal bids have been made for the 24-year-old Colombian sensation, and even if there were, it would be unlikely the player leaves in the summer.
“First of all, we are excited when one of our players gets attention from one of the big clubs. It is because the player is enjoying their football and doing well,” the 36-year-old boss said on premierleague.com. "On the other side, we don’t need to sell and I think the chairman is quite clear that we are not going to have much money to spend.”
It is believed that Rodallega has been attracting interest from the likes of Arsenal, Stoke City and Aston Villa. 312667-73682
