Juventus midfielder Tiago could be on his way out of Turin if reports from Gazzetta dello Sport are to be believed. The former Chelsea star has emerged as a serious target for La Liga side Atletico Madrid to such an extend that the Spaniards have even offered the Portuguese a contract. Should Tiago head to Madrid, he would take home €2M per year on a three-year deal.
Atletico Madrid are apparently prepared to pay Juventus €5.5M for Tiago’s services, and the Spanish side are familiar with Tiago, having had the player on loan for six months last season.
Tiago himself endured a difficult time in Serie A, not often featuring for Juventus following his move from French side Lyon. A deal with Atletico would provide the Portuguese with a great deal more first team football than he would enjoy if he remained in Turin.
