German giants Bayern Munich are keen on moving for Manchester United forward Dimitar Berbatov and believe the Bulgarian will be on his way from Old Trafford in June.

According to German daily Bild, the Allianz Arena outfit have been running the rule over Berbatov and think he could be the perfect addition to their attacking options, if United do not demand top dollar for the former Tottenham Hotspur striker.

Having fallen behind Borussia Dortmund this season, Bayern are keen to inject some new life into a squad which still contains talents such as Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.

Berbatov would surely jump at the chance to move to Germany, enjoy regular first team football and continue to compete at the highest level.
