Serie A side Roma are ready to join the chase for Brazilian talent Ganso according to talk coming out of the Italian capital.

The Santos playmaker has attracted attention from both AC Milan and Inter and the signs are that he should end up in Italy when he decides the time has come to move from Brazil.

And now Roma, boosted by the investment of new owner Thomas DiBenedetto, could be ready to rival the Milan sides for the Brazilian’s signature.

DiBenedetto is believed to have made a transfer kitty of around €40M available; at least €20M of it would be needed for Ganso – possibly more.
