Turkish giants Galatasaray are interested in taking Brazilian defender Breno to Istanbul. The 21-year-old, who is currently on the books of Bayern Munich, has been unhappy with his lack of first team football at the Allianz Arena and a switch to the Turk Telekom Arena could well prove tempting.

Breno had a spell on loan at rival Bavarian side Nurnberg last year and his hunger for first team action grew. It is a hunger that has gone unfulfilled at Bayern and the Brazilian is keen to ensure he does not spend next season kicking his heels on the bench.

Galatasaray, who have endured a season to forget in the Turkish Super Lig, are planning a large rebuilding process.
