Just one year after relegation down to the 2.Bundesliga, Hertha Berlin have booked their spot back in the German top flight.
Victory away at Duisburg (1-0) last night confirmed that their stay in the second tier would be a brief one and, led by former Stuttgart boss Markus Babbel, the Berlin outfit have been the outstanding side of the division.
Extremely well-supported throughout the season – two of their home matches this year have attracted over 70,000 fans – Hertha have picked up 21 wins so far from their 31 games.
