Reports from Barcelona suggest that Serie A side Napoli are the latest club to show serious interest in striker Jeffren.

The southern Italian side are preparing to enjoy Champions League football next season but are well aware that they will need to bolster their squad. Jeffren therefore has been identified as an attractive option.

The 23-year-old striker, who can also operate on either flank, has struggled to gain regular first team football in a side of superstars at the Camp Nou and could well be open to the prospect of a switch to Italy.

Despite being of Venezuelan origin, Jeffren has represented Spain at Under-16, 17, 19, 20 and 21 level. This season Jeffren looks set to enjoy less game time than in the previous campaign, having made 18 starts last season compared to just 10 in the current season.
