Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven are edging closer towards cashing in on Hungarian winger Balazs Dzsudzsak after agreeing a fee with Russian Premier League side Anzhi Makhachkala.
A bid of €14M was enough to concentrate minds in Eindhoven and Dzsudzsak himself has been offered a lucrative deal to head eastwards. And although nothing has been confirmed yet, the Hungarian is expected to agree to the move.
"Confirmation of a private agreement we have not had", explained PSV’s technical director Marcel Brands.
For Anzhi, the signing of Dzsudzsak would represent a major coup, with the player having been followed by most of Europe’s top clubs after a season filled with goals in the Eredivisie and Europa League.
The Hungarian will join a side that can already boast the legendary Roberto Carlos in its ranks, as well as Brazilian striker Diego Tardelli.
