Greek giants Panathinaikos would like to welcome back former striker Djibril Cisse to the club this month.
Cisse left the Athens-based outfit to join Lazio in 2011, from where he landed at current club QPR in the January 2012 transfer window.
The arrival of a new manager at Loftus Road, in the form of ex-Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, has cast Cisse’s future into doubt, with the Englishman thought to not be convinced by the 31-year-old.
And so the former Liverpool striker could well be on the move this month, if a deal can be agreed to take him from the Rs.

According to French sports daily L’Equipe, Panathinaikos would love to sign Cisse, and are poised to make enquiries as to the feasibility of bringing back the striker.
The Greek giants would initially look to take the Frenchman until the end of the season.
Cisse’s spell in Greece was an overwhelming success on the pitch and he quickly became a firm fan favourite.
