Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has waded into the debate over who should be the next coach at his old club Montpellier.
The Ligue 1 outfit have been considering former Argentina coach Diego Maradona, with president Louis Nicollin publicly toying with the idea of appointing him for next season.
Another name in the running is former France boss Raymond Domenech, who has been out of work since departing as Les Bleus coach after the 2010 World Cup debacle.
For Giroud, Maradona gets the nod, indeed, the Arsenal striker would love to work under the man considered by many to be the best player who ever lived.

"Out of Domenech and Maradona? I do not know, I do not know their coaching skills, but I would like to be coached by Maradona because he has a great career behind him and it was as a striker, like me", Giroud told beINSPORT.
Maradona would undoubtedly generate a whole host of headlines if he were to arrive at the Stade de la Mosson for 2013/14.
The Argentine’s last job was in the Middle East at Dubai-based outfit Al Wasl.
