Unal Aysal, the president of Turkish giants Galatasaray, has explained that the club have stopped pursuing Manchester United winger Nani, as they cannot offer more than €7m for the player.
The Portuguese has a contract at Old Trafford until next summer, but his appearances for the 20-time English league champions were on the low end in the 2012/13 season. His future with the Premier League giants is therefore hanging in balance.
The 26-year-old clocked up 21 appearances under Sir Alex Ferguson this season, scoring three times and assisting six times.
The Red Devils want at least €10m for Nani – who has also been linked with French side Monaco – but Galatasaray are not ready to offer that amount. Therefore, they are striking his name off from their summer shortlist.

"We will not go further to pursue Nani”, Aysal told French sports daily L’Equipe.
“We cannot put more than €7M on the table for the player, and they are asking €10M. Therefore, he is no longer on the list of players we want.”
Nani joined the Manchester heavyweights from Sporting Lisbon in 2007. Since then, he has made 216 appearances under Ferguson and has scored 40 times.
He also won four Premier League titles and one Champions League crown with the club.
