Manchester United starlet Alexander Buttner has revealed that the club’s former manager Sir Alex Ferguson praised his development before retiring.
Ferguson ended a hugely successful 26-year stint at Old Trafford last month, bowing out to be succeeded by David Moyes.
The former Everton manager is due to take charge on 1st July and he will find a Dutch left-back extremely high on confidence in Buttner.
Indeed, the man who Ferguson saw as the long-term successor to Patrice Evra, has been boosted by praise from the retiring tactician.

"I will not quickly forget what Ferguson told me", he continued.
"He said my development was fabulous.
"That gave me such a boost."
