Juventus have confirmed that left-back Reto Ziegler has joined fellow Italian outfit Sassuolo on a loan deal.

The 27-year-old will spend the entire 2013/14 campaign at the newly promoted Serie A side.

The Swiss international joined the Bianconeri from Sampdoria in 2011 on a four-year deal.

However, Zieglar has never featured for Antonio Conte’s side and was loaned out to Fenerbahce, Lokomotiv Moscow and Fenerbahce again over the past two seasons.

He has 31 caps and an international goal for Switzerland to his name and has also represented the nation at various youth levels.

The reigning Serie A champions have also loaned out Ziegler’s compatriot, Zoran Josipovic, for the upcoming campaign.

The 17-year-old forward has joined Serie B side Novara on a season-long loan deal.
