Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of Cameron Jerome on a loan deal from Stoke City, completed in the final moments before the closure of the transfer window last night.

The striker will remain with the newly-promoted Premier League side for the entire 2013/14 campaign.

 


The Eagles were extremely busy in the transfer market and signed as many as 14 players, including Jerome.

The 26-year-old joined Stoke from Birmingham City in 2011 and made 67 appearances for the Potters in all competitions, netting 12 times.

The former England Under-21 international started his professional career with Cardiff City and made his debut for the club in 2004.

He then signed for Birmingham in 2006 and during his five-year stay at St Andrew's, scored 42 goals in 202 appearances.

In his final season with the Blues, the striker helped the club to win the League Cup.

Jerome has a further two years left on his current contract with Stoke.
