Jose Mourinho has aimed a blast at Roberto Mancini, doing his best to take away any credit the Galatasaray coach has claimed for Inter's 2010 Champions League victory.

The current Chelsea manager replaced Mancini at Inter in 2008 and the Italian had suggested that he had put in place many of the foundations which allowed Mourinho to guide the Nerazzurri to the European crown.

"Pfff. It's funny because in my team fielded in the 2010 final, there was Lucio, [Thiago] Motta, [Samuel] Eto’o, [Wesley] Sneijder and [Goran] Pandev", Mourinho was quoted as saying by Maxifoot.

"In my starting eleven, he did not work with six of them. So he built a team of five players, because I did not play with five parts of his team."

Mourinho's comments promise to add further spice to tonight's proceedings when his Chelsea take on Mancini's Galatasaray in their Champions League Round of 16 first leg, in Istanbul.

Mancini was sacked by Manchester City at the end of last season, while Mourinho returned to Chelsea after a seven-year absence in the summer.
