Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has praised Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski, but is hopeful that his side can keep the attacker in check when the two clubs meet for the return leg of the Champions League quarter-final clash at Signal Iduna Park on Tuesday.
The Polish international, who scored four goals against the Spanish club in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final last year, will be back in action for the Bundesliga side this week after having missed the first leg due to suspension.

The Black and Yellows were hammered 3-0 in the first leg by Carlo Ancelotti’s men at the Santiago Bernabeu last week and Lewandowski’s return, Dortmund will hope, will give them the boost they need to make it to the semi-finals this year as well, but Bale believes that the Whites are up to the challenge of facing the "great player".
“He is a great player and has been showing that over the last few years, but we have to concentrate on our own job, like we did in the first leg, defending well’, the Welshman told Real Madrid’s site.

“You can't do things any differently when you come up against other good attacking players. We have to defend well and I hope the team is at its best for this game”.
Lewandowski has scored 17 goals in the Bundesliga this season and hit the back of the net six times in the Champions League.
