Juventus are planning to send forward Sebastian Giovinco to Parma in a straight swap for defender Gabriel Paletta. According to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, the two clubs are in negotiations to make the deal happen in the summer.
Juventus are currently top of Serie A with 81 points after 31 games, while Parma are sixth with 50 points to their name.

Juventus are on the lookout for a central defender for next season and have made Paletta one of their transfer targets of the summer. The former Liverpool man has impressed the Bianconeri with his performances for Parma, a club he joined from Boca Juniors in 2010.
On the other hand, Parma are looking to add attacking talents to the squad for next season to help their push for the Champions League spots, and Giovinco has been identified as a target.

Paletta has made 16 appearances for Parma in Serie A this season at the heart of the defence.
