Manchester United defender Patrice Evra admits that the squad have been ‘up for it’ more in the Champions League than for the league or the domestic cup competitions this season.
Compared to usual standards, Manchester United have been below par this season. They currently lie sixth in the Premier League table on 57 points and are out of the both the cup competitions. The only hope for silverware lies in the Champions League where they face Bayern Munich in the second leg of their quarter-final on Wednesday.

"In the Champions League, we have played good", the Frenchman told the club’s official website.
The 32-year-old admits that the performance of the Red Devils in the league has been inconsistent and candidly accepts the fact that the squad look more ‘up for it’ and show more spirit in the Champions League than they have done in the domestic competitions this season.
