Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has warned that a decision must be made by Ilkay Gundogan on a new contract before the end of this month.
Gundogan, who has been linked with a whole host of clubs including Manchester United and Real Madrid, has a deal with Dortmund which is due to expire in 2015.

The Ruhr giants are desperate for Gundogan to stay put and pen a contract extension, but that is no nearer to happening at present.
And Watzke does not want the contract saga to drag into May.

"I think that all parties are now aware of the fact that a decision must be taken before the end of this month", Watzke was quoted as saying by Tutto Mercato.
"We'll see how it turns out", he added.
Gundogan has seen his season severely affected by a back injury, with the midfielder only able to make three appearances for the club in all competitions thus far.
