West Ham goalkeeper Adrian continues to maintain that Liverpool should not have won a second-half penalty during Sunday's match, but admitted he could do nothing to stop Steven Gerrard's spot-kick.
Liverpool defender Jon Flanagan went down under an Adrian challenge in the penalty area, with Gerrard's goal providing to be crucial as the Reds beat the Hammers 2-1 at Upton Park.

Adrian is still smarting from the decision, feeling he won the ball.
"I thought it was the wrong decision because I touched the ball with my hand and I think Flanagan did not claim anything on the pitch", the goalkeeper told his club's site.

"I think it was a bad decision from the referee. We didn't lose this match because of our performance, because it was a good performance. One point would have been good for us but finally we lost."
And Adrian admits that when it came to facing Gerrard, the Liverpool skipper gave him absolutely no chance.
"On Saturday I watched a DVD of 20 penalties taken by Gerrard but he is a good striker of the ball.
"I know sometimes he goes across the ball [to shoot to the goalkeeper’s left] and I saw his movement, but I didn't have a chance to save it."
