AC Milan central defender Adil Rami believes that the Italian giants will make a comeback to become a force again from next season, while revealing that he wants to end his career with the Rossoneri.

The Rossoneri are currently languishing at eleventh in the Serie A table on 45 points, 19 points off the pace of Champions League qualification.

The French defender wants to finish his career at Milan and believes that he could become one of the best in the world in his position.

“At this team I'm happy and I hope to stay for a long time. I'm working to be a starter and become the best in my role”, the 28-year-old told Sky Italia.

“I would like to end my career with the Rossoneri.”

The former Lille defender is bullish about Milan’s chances next season and praised coach Clarence Seedorf for the hard work that the Dutchman is putting in to revive the fortunes of the club.

“Seedorf? He is a coach who works very hard and appreciates those who work perfectly.

“Milan's future? It will take a lot to get back to being successful, but I'm sure next year we'll win.”

Rami agreed a loan move to Milan in October 2013, his club Valencia gave him the permission to start training with the Serie A club until his move became official in January 2014.
