Aston Villa defender Joe Bennett admits that he still has a lot to learn at Villa Park, but is delighted with the way he has performed recently.
The 24-year-old Englishman has had an up-and-down career with the Villans since his move from Middlesbrough in the summer of 2012.

Battling serious back and knee injuries this season, the young left-back returned for the side’s fixtures against Cardiff City, Newcastle, Chelsea and Fulham.
He played an important part at the back for boss Paul Lambert during their 1-0 upset of title contenders Chelsea, and received a standing ovation when he was substituted off towards the end of the game, but Bennett believes that he still has a lot to prove on the field.

“There's only me who can prove myself. I feel I am getting better with every passing week”, he was quoted as saying by Aston Villa’s site.
"I am still learning too. I have still got a big progress to make. But I am confident I can get there.
"The ovation I got when I came off against Chelsea gave me a big boost. It was really good from the fans to give that to me. They are an unbelievable support.
"Hopefully I can keep impressing them with more good performances in the closing weeks of the season”, the player added.
Aston Villa, currently 13th in the league table, lost their last game 2-1 against relegation-battlers Fulham last weekend and will be hoping to make it to the top half of the Premier League when they travel to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace on Saturday.
