Valencia striker Paco Alcacer has revealed that it was the best night of his footballing career when his side beat Basel 5-0 in the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final at the Mestella last night.
Looking to overcome a 3-0 deficit from the opening leg in Switzerland, a hat-trick from Alcacer and strikes from Eduardo Vargas and Juan Bernat ensured that the Spanish club progressed to the next round of the European tournament after winning the game in extra-time.
