West Ham United forward Ricardo Vaz Te feels that the fans of the English club back their players and the team all the way.

Following an open training day at the Boleyn Ground, the Portugal-born player was ecstatic after interacting with the fans and said that the Hammers boast of a loyal and passionate set of supporters.

“As a player you want a reaction from the fans and for their passion to come out, and for example, when we were winning at Sunderland with 15-20 minutes remaining of the match, their fans went home”, the 27-year-old wrote in a blog for West Ham.

“West Ham fans might have a go at you, but they certainly back us all the way.

“They will stick by the team; they will cheer and support you. They will believe all the way to the end and stick with the club. I do not think anyone can say otherwise.”

Sam Allardyce’s side are currently 11th in the Premier League, just three points behind tenth-placed Stoke City, and will be hoping to end the season in the top half of the table when they take on Arsenal, Crystal Palace, West Bromwich Albion, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City in their remaining fixtures this season.
