Brendan Rodgers feels that with a little bit of luck Liverpool can fulfil their supporters' dreams by winning the Premier League title this season.
Liverpool currently sit top of the table and with a two-point lead over second-placed Chelsea. On Sunday they welcome third-placed Manchester City to Anfield. Boasting a four-point advantage over the Citizens, who have two games in hand, the contest is key.

Liverpool fans are dreaming of a first top flight title since 1990 and Rodgers thinks their dreams might just come true.
"It's been a long time [since] the league has ever been won here in Merseyside", Rodgers explained at a press conference.

"First and foremost it's getting in the Champions League. Economically to the club [it’s important] and there are businesses around the city that will prosper because of the Champions League.
"If we can continue to work well and get that little bit of luck, hopefully the fans' dreams come true", he concluded.
Rodgers also stressed that no club, no matter the size, have a divine right to win the league.
"This is a huge club, a fantastic club, but you've no divine right just because you're a big club."
