Winston Reid is excited by what Manuel Lanzini has brought to the table for West Ham United this season and expects more to come from the Argentine.
Lanzini is on a season-long loan at the Hammers and has been quick to make his presence felt on the pitch with a series of glittering performances.
He was on target at the weekend to help West Ham hold Everton to a 1-1 draw at Upton Park and Reid feels Lanzini must be considered one of the players of the season so far.
Speaking to West Ham TV, Reid said: "He's been brilliant, he has been one of the players of the season so far for us.
"He has been really good and he keeps on improving. He's not just an attacker, he also defends and he can run from box to box. He's very creative, so it's good", the defender continued.

"He's only a young kid, there are going to be some difficult games for him, but fortunately for us he's having really, really good games at the moment. The main thing's that he keeps developing and keeps playing well."
West Ham have an option to keep Lanzini on a permanent basis at the end of his loan spell and if the Argentine can maintain his level of performance at Upton Park the Hammers will be expected to take it up.
Slaven Bilic's men currently sit in sixth spot in the Premier League standings with 21 points from their 12 games, three off the top four.
Next up for the Hammers is a trip to face Tottenham Hotspur after the international break.
