Leeds United starlet Charlie Taylor admits he was left surprised by the physical development of young goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell when he returned from a loan stint.

The 19-year-old was brought off the bench by Leeds boss Steve Evans during the latter stages of Friday night's 2-0 friendly victory away at Wycombe Wanderers.

Taylor knows Peacock-Farrell well from the youth ranks at Elland Road and says that the goalkeeper is now a huge specimen compared to earlier in his career.

The left-back said on LUTV: "I remember him a couple of years ago and he was a small thing.

"I got back from [a loan spell with] Fleetwood and he's shot up to six foot five!" Taylor joked.

Taylor had a spell on loan at Fleetwood in the 2013/14 campaign.

Peacock-Farrell came off the bench at Adams Park against Wycombe in the 86th minute, replacing number 1 Marco Silvestri.

The young custodian has found himself behind Ross Turnbull and Charlie Horton in the pecking order at Elland Road, but received a chance because Horton is away on international duty and Turnbull is injured.
