Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel has insisted that he “doesn’t care” about Ilkay Gundogan meeting incoming Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.

Gundogan, whose contract was due to run out in the summer of this year, put pen to paper on an extension last summer to keep him at the club until 2017.

However, the midfielder has continued to be heavily linked with move away from the Westfalenstadion, with Juventus interested in snapping him up in the winter window.

Gundogan, who was recently photographed meeting Guardiola, stayed put at Dortmund in January, with Manchester City reportedly interested in swooping for the Germany international in the summer.

And Tuchel explained that although he is yet to see the photographs, he is still unperturbed by the news.

“First of all I didn’t see those photos and secondly I don’t mind at all. Honestly”, he said in his pre-Tottenham Hotspur press conference.

“It doesn’t affect my mood in any way. I heard but I don’t care.”

Gundogan, whose present contract with Dortmund runs until 2017, has thus far made 36 appearances in all competitions for the club in the present campaign, scoring three times and providing seven assists.

The 25-year-old also has 16 caps and four goals for Germany to his name.
