Leeds United legend Eddie Gray feels the Whites’ recent away triumphs at Cardiff City and Blackburn Rovers will be a source of great confidence for the squad going into the last leg of the season.
After a demoralising away defeat at Brighton earlier this month, Steve Evans’ men have been on a roll with three wins on the trot, including away wins at Cardiff and Blackburn respectively.
With fears of relegation all but gone, Leeds are keen to finish in the top ten at the end of the season, which would still require a strong run of form towards the end of the 2015/16 campaign.
And Gray feels that their recent wins away from home will give the squad the confidence needed to finish the season on a high.
The Leeds legend said on LUTV: “These were tough games on paper – Cardiff and Blackburn away – coming after the Bolton game.

“The players can look forward to the rest of the season, and it must give them a lot of confidence.”
Leeds are currently 13th in the league table on 47 points, five points off tenth placed Preston North End.
Their next fixture is a Yorkshire derby against Huddersfield at Elland Road on Saturday.
