Jurgen Klopp feels Liverpool’s 2-0 aggregate lead heading into the Europa League Round of 16 second leg clash against Manchester United is not a decisive one.

The Reds, who have lost just once in their last seven outings in all competitions, beat Louis van Gaal’s team at Anfield last week, courtesy of Daniel Sturridge’s 20th minute penalty, with Roberto Firmino doubling Liverpool’s advantage in the second half.

But Klopp admitted that his side’s advantage over their arch-rivals is “not perfect” as he prepares to guide the Merseyside giants to the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

However, the German, who insisted that he is “not afraid” to head to Old Trafford with a 2-0 lead, expects a tough encounter against the Red Devils in their own backyard.

"It's football, the ball is round and everything can happen", he told a press conference.

"I’m not scared or something like this, I'm not afraid. We have the chance and we [did] the best thing we could do in the first game, we made our position a little bit better.

"It's not perfect, it’s not 5-0, it's not 6-0, it's not a holiday tomorrow, it's really hard work. That's no problem, I knew this before the draw, I knew it after the draw, I knew it before the first leg, I knew it after.

"It’s better now because it’s tomorrow, we don't have to wait another five days for the game. We want to take this chance for us, that’s all.

"At the end, you know, if you want something with all you have it doesn't mean you get it. We know this because a lot of times in our lives we didn’t get what we wanted but tomorrow we have a chance to work for it and that's what we try to do."

It will be the third time Klopp will take on Manchester United since taking charge of Liverpool in October, with the Anfield outfit losing 1-0 to the Red Devils in a Premier League encounter in January.
