Borussia Dortmund skipper Mats Hummels believes that his team will be clear favourites going into tonight's match against Tottenham Hotspur, but has also warned his side against the quality on offer at White Hart Lane.

The two sides lock horns in the second leg of their round of 16 tie in the Europa League with the first leg in Germany having ended in a 3-0 win for Thomas Tuchel's men.

Tonight will be a different game altogether though, with the Lilywhites preparing to give it their all as they have nothing to lose now.

The defender has therefore told his side to expect tough competition from the Londoners because teams often play differently at home than they do while playing away.

"We know that we will have to work hard again", Hummels told his club's official website.

"We know all about the quality that Tottenham have. Teams often play very differently at home than they do away."

With the visitors holding a clear advantage over their opponents, Hummels admits that his side will be favourites for the return leg.

And he therefore wants to prove his team's class by scoring tonight and going through to the quarter-finals.

"We know that we are clear favourites to make it through to the next round. We want to show that in the game, and preferably with a goal to quell any remaining doubt."
