UEFA has conducted the draw for the quarter-finals of this season's Europa League and four mouthwatering ties are now in prospect as the competition for the trophy heats up. 

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool, who came through over two legs against fierce rivals Manchester United, have been rewarded with a quarter-final tie against the German manager's former club, Borussia Dortmund, in what is surely the tie of the round.




Elsewhere, Portuguese outfit Braga are set to take on Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk, with both sides having experience of having reached the final of the competition, while Spanish La Liga side Villarreal play Czech Republic outfit Sparta Prague.

Meanwhile, there is an all La Liga tie in the shape of Athletic Bilbao taking on Sevilla, who have won the competition a record four times. The ties will be played on 7th and 14th April.
