Scotland manager Gordon Strachan feels Leigh Griffiths can be pleased with his performance in the 1-0 friendly win over Denmark last night.
Griffiths, who was called up by Scotland for the game at Hampden, has been in prolific goalscoring form for Celtic in the present campaign.
He has scored 35 goals and provided seven assists in 43 appearances in all competitions for the Scottish champions this season.
Although Griffiths failed to find the back of the net against the Danes, the 25-year-old did enough to impress Strachan.
And the manager, whose team won the contest, courtesy of Matt Ritchie’s early strike, explained that Scotland’s midfield failed to provide Griffiths with goalscoring opportunities.

"He did okay but he didn’t’ get much service because we didn’t do too well", Strachan was quoted as saying by the Herald Scotland.
"You can’t judge somebody if they haven’t had any opportunities. Again, he’s a good finisher, but we have to have a team that gives people who are good finishers more opportunities.
“He can be pleased with himself tonight. I don’t think anyone really disappointed. In terms of giving 100 per cent they’re fine.”
Griffiths, who earned his seventh senior cap for Scotland last night, is yet to find the back of the net at international level.
The striker has scored 63 goals in 98 games for Celtic since joining the club from Hibernian in January 2014.
