Dumbarton manager Stevie Aitken has insisted that his side are not going to Ibrox just to make up the numbers and will be eager to spoil the party for Rangers.
The two sides lock horns at Rangers' home ground later tonight with the stakes being high for Mark Warburton's side, who now need just one win to ensure their return back to the Premiership as Championship champions.
While all the hype surrounding the match will be centred around the Gers and their quest for promotion, the Sons will be looking to spoil the party by coming away with all three points, according to their manager.
Referring to their last match against Morton, where they managed to hold Jim Duffy's side to a goalless draw, Aitken said that if they could replicate that, there is no reason why they won't be able to go away with something from the game.
"It's a big game for everyone at Rangers but we need points too and we are not going to Ibrox to make up the numbers", Aitken told his club's official website.

"We were solid defensively against Morton and if we can replicate that form, we are hopeful of taking something out of the game."
Dumbarton skipper Darren Barr, who had to substituted during the Morton match, is expected to fit for the Rangers fixture, adding to the relief of the manager.
The club are in desperate need of points in order to secure their Championship status, being currently placed eighth with 30 points from 30 matches and leading Livingston, who sit in the relegation playoff spot in ninth, by just two points.
