Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera believes that Manchester City still have a number of tricky games this season, as he specifically pointed to their meeting with Newcastle United.
With just seven matches left for most of the sides in this season, the race for the top four has taken an interesting turn. Manchester United sit in fifth in the Premier League table, a mere point away from fourth placed Manchester City; West Ham are just two points further back from the Red Devils.
Manuel Pellegrini’s men have a tough schedule ahead of them with games against Chelsea and Arsenal still to come, and although the Citizens did beat Bournemouth 4-0 at the weekend, they lost to the Red Devils in the Manchester derby just before that.
And Herrera is optimistic that with an away game against Newcastle United still to go, the Etihad Stadium outfit have every chance of slipping up against a battling side under new manager Rafael Benitez, insisting that Manchester City will have to be wary of the Magpies at St. James Park when they play each other later this month.
"We are just one point behind them", Herrera told his club's site, looking towards Manchester City in the table.

“They have to play against Newcastle away – Newcastle are playing to avoid relegation so it is going to be tough for them”, the 26-year-old midfielder continued.
“I think in the last game we showed that we are a little bit better than them right now, in this moment.
"We beat them away in the Manchester derby so we can be optimistic”, the Spaniard added.
