Harry Forrester has dedicated Rangers’ Scottish Championship triumph to each and every one of the club’s supporters.

The Gers edged out Dumbarton 1-0 at Ibrox last night to win the league title and earn promotion back to the Scottish Premiership, courtesy of James Tavernier’s 50th minute winner.

It will be the first time Rangers will head back to the Scottish Premiership after they had to start in the fourth tier, following their liquidation in 2012.

And Forrester, who joined the Scottish giants from Doncaster Rovers on an initial six-month deal during the winter transfer window, explained that he thoroughly enjoyed the feeling of Rangers being crowned league champions.

“Wow!!!! What a feeling!!! That was for every one of you!!” he tweeted.

Forrester, who is close to earning a new long-term deal with Rangers, has thus far scored five goals and provided an assist in 15 appearances in all competitions for his present employers.

He may get his second winners’ medal of the season if Rangers beat Peterhead in the Challenge Cup final on Sunday.
