Rangers loanee Tom Walsh admits that playing for a lower mid-table club such as Dumbarton is tough because of the inconsistency of results and form.
The 19-year-old midfielder joined the Scottish Championship side from the Gers during the January window on loan until the end of the season, and has been a regular part of their first team squad.
Dumbarton are eighth in the Championship table, and have been prone to displaying some up and down performances throughout the season, which has been a source of frustration for their fans.
Walsh admits playing for a team such as Dumbarton is tough because of their inconsistencies, but also added their form is not surprising as most of the players in the squad are not professional footballers.
When asked about Dumbarton’s form, the youngster told Rangers TV: “It’s tough.

Dumbarton lost to Rangers earlier this week at Ibrox, and will play Queen of the South next on Tuesday night.
